Color Fields & Forms

This month in the ArtLab studio, play with monochrome and minimal color palettes. Fold 3D paper shapes using Sonobe modular origami to explore the color field geometry of David Row. Drench an image in a single color, inspired by Sarah Szwajkos’ photographs and Mallie Loring Pratt’s paintings. Practice cyanotype, like Sarah Haskell, to make an all-blue print from sunlight. Explore and experiment with color fields and forms.
