Join us on select Saturdays for ArtLab for All at Midcoast Villager Café. Explore and experiment intersecting image and text using creative prompts for artmaking. Participants will use a variety of mark making materials, play with adding color, lines, and illustrate words. Explore the connections between creative imagery and text in these collaborative ArtLabs. 

This month, Create a colorful cut paper collage inspired the ocean. In the book Sail Away poet Langston Hughes and artist Ashley Bryan celebrate the sea. Take home a free copy of the book as part of the Beautiful Blackbird Children's Book Festival.
