Becoming a Teaching Artist
Are you curious about sharing your practice with others, but unsure of how to begin? Join us for a conversation! Lea Freni, co-founder of Creative Collective Workshops, will share her experience as a teaching artist, followed by time for discussion.


Presenter Bio
Lea Freni is a Maine-based designer and teaching artist and co-founder of Create Collective Workshops, a multidisciplinary art collective hosting art classes throughout the Northeast.

Lea has 10+ years of fashion industry experience in apparel design, graphic design, and 3D modeling. She is passionate about art education and exploring design techniques with students of all ages and skill levels. 

In addition to teaching and maintaining a personal creative practice, Lea serves as the Design + Retail Manager at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art.
