Graffiti Art Raffle -- Drawing December 2

Graffiti artist Mike Rich spray painted two pieces on canvas for a raffle for CMCA's first Annual Halloween Party -- "Good or Evil?" And you can still purchase tickets, even if you didn't go to the party! Since many attendees didn't have cash with them but wanted to buy tickets, we decided to extend the time period for purchasing tickets to December 2. Tickets are only $5 each, or $20 for multiples of five. They can be purchased below online; at CMCA, where the paintings are displayed next to the Gallery Shop; or by calling CMCA at 207.236.2875, with your credit card information.

Ticket Options

How the Raffle Works
On December 2, the purchaser of the first ticket picked at random will have his or her choice of the two paintings -- "Good" or "Evil" -- and the holder of the second ticket picked will receive the remaining painting. We will call the winners, who may pick up their paintings at CMCA or choose to have them shipped for the actual cost of packing and shipping.

The Artist
Mike Rich has been a graffiti artist since 1985, when he began doing graffiti in and around his neighborhood of Munjoy Hill in Portland, Maine. He curated the now-famous murals at the Asylum nightclub in Portland, which are repainted by graffiti artists, including Rich, each summer. Rich also curated the Dunk the Junk-sponsored showcase of graffiti art displayed at CMCA during the winter of 2012.
